Two female suicide bombers were intercepted by the Nigerian army, around 9.30 pm on Wednesday, December 19 at Mushimari settlement in Konduga L.G.A of Borno State.
The two female suicide bombers who wore explosive vests, were attempting to infiltrate a military location in Borno. A statement from the Nigerian army which confirmed the interception, reads;
“At about 9.30 p.m today 19 December 2018, one suspected female suicide bomber and her accomplice were intercepted at Mushimari settlement in Konduga L.G.A of Borno State while attempting to infiltrate the 222 Batallion Defensive Location
They were apprehended by the troops and vest strapped on the suspected suicide bomber was successfully immobilized. Preliminary investigation is ongoing.”
