As reported few days ago, an entire team of key opinion leaders comprising of Actresses, Musicians, On air personalities travelled to South Africa courtesy SA Tourism and Infinix Mobility to capture significant sites within the country and extensively absorb the exemplary components of the South African culture.

Also as formerly stated, persons taken on this trip include Nigerian TV Presenter and Influencer, @stephaniecoker, Ghanaian Actor, @mawuli_gavor, Ghanaian Actresses, @joselyn_dumas and @jackieappiah, Nigerian Singer, @adekunlegold, Critically acclaimed Nigerian Filmmaker, kemiadetiba, , Bloggers, @thetosinajibade, @prince__noble, @onobello, @ameyaw112, Media Guru, @colette_otutesho, Acclaimed photographers, @kelechiamadiobi and @kolaoshalusi, Beat FM OAP @osisuave and many more notable persons such as @lexisbill, @kemismallz, @ojornelu, and @donduku.

The entire team touched down South Africa on the 27th of November 2018 and wasted no time in delving into the alluring elements that make up South Africa with a mixture of fun activities and sight seeing to cap an exhilarating experience.


Fast forward to Day 4 – The team made their way to Claren Xtreme Adventures, a recreation centre in Clarens, South Africa predominantly known for its soothing ambience and grassroots approach to adventure and team building. It was a fun afternoon of ziplining and quad biking.

The fun didn’t end there, the team proceeded to the Bashoto Cultural Village, a settlement which nestles at the foot of huge sandstone mountains. It was a visit that proved very insightful as it provided deeper insight into the lifestyle of the South Sotho from the 16th century to the picturesque present.

Day 5 – A visit to Nelson Mandela National Museum, commonly referred to as Mandela House was next on the itinerary. The Mandela House serves as a leading centre for the preservation, presentation, and research of the history of the Mandela Family. It was a time to reflect on the impact of Nelson Mandela’s activism for South Africa and Africa as a whole.

Day 6 – The FNB Stadium in Soweto which was filled to maximum capacity was sent into a frenzy for the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100 event and the entire team was there to capture the spectacle. The event which was aimed towards ending extreme poverty in Africa had celebrities and top political dignitaries in attendance.

It also witnessed live music performances from some of Africa’s best music talents such as D’Banj, Wizkid, Black Coffee and some of the world’s biggest music superstars in Jay-Z & Beyoncé, Chris Martin of Coldplay etc.
