Fifteen minutes to the end of the game substitute Rasheedat Ajibade killed off any hope of a late fightback from Zambia with the third goal for the Nigerian team with FC Robo forward fired in a stunning shot from outside the box to score in the 73rd minute, before another substitute Amarachi Okonkwo sealed the win in added time to compounded Shepolopolo woes.

The win restores hope for Super Falcons as they face Equatorial Guinea in their last match, with the hope of securing a semifinal ticket in Ghana.
