Paul Pogba deleted a cryptic message he shared on Twitter, after it was announced the Manchester United Coach, Jose Mourinho has been sacked.
Paul Pogba who deleted the cryptic message which was construed as a potential final dig at the Portuguese, had asked Twitter users to caption an image of Pogba with a wry smile – soon after he initially posted them.
The duo had a tempestuous relationship since the France international returned to Old Trafford, in a world record £89m transfer from Juventus in the summer of 2016. Mourinho appeared to have turned his back on Pogba after he omitted him out of his side for the last two Premier League games, leaving him on the bench throughout last Sunday’s 3-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.
Manchester United Legend Gary Neville who wasn’t impressed with the tweet, seemingly reacted to Pogba’s tweet, writing on his own social media account: “‘Caption this’… you do one as well!”
