A Nigerian couple, who couldn’t contain their joy of becoming parents to their own child after 30 years of marriage, dropped an encouragement post for other couples yet to have their own child.
Hours before the baby’s arrival, Tony Airhenbuwa wrote;
Iam doing this to encourage those waiting for God`s favour, we waited for almost 30 years and he finally answered our prayers.thank you Jesus.

Few days ago, there was also a report of a Nigerian couple who welcomed a baby after 37 years of marriage. A Facebook user identified as Ayotunde Alao shared the miraculous story on his page. He revealed that he was at the child’s christening ceremony. Alao who was the Master of Ceremony (MC) for the joyous event, expressed that he was extremely emotional during the event.
He further noted that they cried and laughed at the event. On his post, Alao noted that he realised that God still answers prayers in mysteriouse ways. The MC said:
“This was an extremely emotional moment for me as I did MC, we laughed, cried in between and most importantly had fun! God still answers prayers in mysterious ways. After 37years of marriage Elijah came with fire. Its a miracle loaded with testimonies… There is no lateness with God… Just stay faithful & trust Him… #africatotheworld#greatness#motivation @ Normal, Illinois.”
There was also a report of a Nigerian couple Mr and Mrs Taiwo, who were recently blessed with sextuplets after 17 years of marriage. Facebook user, Chris Kehindu Nwandu who shared the story wrote;
“Miracle! Woman delivers sextuplets after 17 years of marriage. She is seeking support. Mr Adeboye Taiwo has been married for 17 years ,the wife got pregnant. He was expecting a baby but God gave him the greatest surprise of his life, not one or two, she delivered six kids (3 boys,3 girls).”
“All of them are alive.he is is seeking the support of well meaning Nigerians at home and abroad for support. Taiwo told CKN News: ‘I and Ajibola my only wife had been married for 17 years. This is our first kids. All we were asking God for is at least a child and we never knew they were six until we had an ultrasound.”
