Melania Trump’s secret service agent rushes to protect her from elephant
First Lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump is currently on her first international trip without her husband Donald.
But being the wife of the President of the United States comes with its risks and she is required to travel with protection in the form of Secret Service agents.
However, it seems some of them are a bit too protective of the 48-year-old former model.
She was visiting the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi, Kenya, today when a Secret Service agent – wearing those trademark sunglasses – suddenly rushed forward to grab the First Lady.
Photographs show him looking pretty panic-stricken, while Melania remains fairly calm and takes a slight step backwards.
Although the photos might suggest Melania was in danger at the elephant orphanage, she was reportedly smiling more than ever.
CNN White House reporter Kate Bennett, who witnessed the ‘attack’, tweeted;
“I have covered [ Melania Trump ] for almost two years and have never seen her smile and laugh more than she is now with these baby elephants.”
Melania also took a tour of the site of an ivory burn – mounds of ivory ash set up to discourage poachers – and saw impala, zebras and giraffes along the way.
