Champions, Manchester City have qualified for the the Carabao Cup semi finals, after they defeated Leicester City via penalties on Tuesday night.
Pep Guardiola’s men took the lead in the first half, after Kevin De Bruyne was allowed space and time to shoot from outside the box.
However, the hosts fought back and equalized after the break, with Marc Albrighton slamming home.
There were no further goals and the tie had to be decided through spot kicks, where the Premier League champions came out on top.
In the other quarter-final clash played on the night, Burton Albion saw off Middlesbrough 1-0 at the Riverside.
When is the Carabao Cup semi finals draw?
The draw takes place on Wednesday 19 December immediately after the televised quarter-final match between Arsenal and Tottenham, which kicks-off at 7.45pm.
Burton Albion are also through after their win over Middlesbrough, and there are two more quarter-final ties to be played on Wednesday.
Arsenal’s face Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium, Chelsea host Bournemouth.
