Kayode Ogundamisi called out for insinuating that US is interfering in Nigeria’s election with out of school children report
Kayode Ogundamisi, an APC social media campaigner has been called out by Nigerians after he insinuated that the US is interfering in Nigeria’s election with out of school children report.
The US embassy who reacted to a UNICEF report about out of school children report, had tweeted;
@UNICEF survey indicates that the population of out of school children in Nigeria has risen from 10.5 million to 13.2 million, the highest in the world.
However reacting to the above tweet, Kayode Ogundamisi, who claimed that the number is unacceptable, added that the US had previously claimed that there was Russian interference in the last election hence imprisonment of Trump’s lawyer.
Unacceptable number for out of school children so also
@realDonaldTrump Russian connection in American election interference but at least you guys are doing something about it as Trumps lawyers just got banged 3 years.
Here are reactions of Nigerians to the tweet below;
This is coming few weeks after we reported that former President Goodluck Jonathan accused former US President, Barack Obama of interfering in 2015 elections in his book titled ‘My Transition Hours’.
According to Goodluck Jonathan, Obama sent his secretary of state, John Kerry, and made a video broadcast to Nigerians in ways designed to influence the outcome of the election against him. The former Nigerian President who described this as ‘humiliating’, eventually lost the election to President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and conceded while the final results were yet to be announced — a step unprecedented in Nigeria’s history.
