Reports reaching LailasNews Wednesday morning indicate that there is a fire outbreak at Ebule Egba, due to pipeline vandalism.
The Nation reports that some residential and commercial houses were reportedly affected in the fire which began at about 3.30 am on Wednesday, December 19.
Vandals are reported to have allegedly caused an explosion from the pipelines, which extended to Abule Egba Bus Stop.
It was gathered that men of the fire service arrived in few trucks hours after the fire incident which destroyed many properties in the area.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA’s) response unit in an early morning tweet on Wednesday, December 19, said the explosion occurred due to bunkering activities in the area.
According to LASEMA, the fire was triggered from the bunkering activities contact with an ignitable source.
