A Boko Haram terrorist who came to a village in Borno State to steal food items from farms with his colleagues, was killed gallant Troops of 222 Battalion Konduga in conjunction with local farmers on patrol along Mushari -Galtimari Road in Borno state.
While one of the Boko Haram terrorists was killed by the soldiers who ambushed them, the rest reportedly fled and left behind 2 bicycles and several bags of harvested onions as can be seen in the pictures below;
This is coming after it was reported that three soldiers were killed after an attack by Boko Haram sect members, on a military base in Kareto, north of the Borno state capital Maiduguri. Boko Haram fighters attacked the base in the town of Kareto, 150 kilometres (about 90 miles) north of the state capital Maiduguri last night Wednesday, November 15th.
The militants temporarily dislodged troops from the base before being repelled with aerial support, the sources said.
“We lost three soldiers in the fight and several others are still missing. The terrorists were smoked out of the base by a fighter jet which deployed to the scene” said a military source who spoke on anonymity
